TrolMaster continues the revolution with a 10-inch touchscreen and web-based software. The Hydro-X Pro is also backward compatible with all current Hydro-X control modules/devices. It offers greater flexibility and allows any pluggable module to be addressed according to the user's wishes. The user can also configure each module to have multiple "conditions" that will activate the module, allowing almost unlimited control options.
The Hydro-x Pro is designed to be a single room controller for reliability and ease of use. The Hydro-X Pro expands the capabilities of the original Hydro-X by allowing up to 50 sensors and up to 50 separate control modules to be connected to a single Hydro-X Pro. Multiple sub-zones can be created within a single grow space by linking a specific sensor to one or more specific control functions. The new 4-in-1 sensor comes with an LCD display that makes on-site monitoring easy.
Each of the variables (temperature, humidity, CO2, light) can be controlled independently, meaning that a custom rise/fall can be used to faithfully simulate natural outdoor conditions, or simply allow for complete customization of the environment. Displayed on an easy to read and construct “graph”, it allows the user to have 100% control over their environment. Another powerful feature of the Hydro-X Pro is the built-in calendar and calendar presets that allow the user to plan the entire “recipe” of a crop in the Hydro-X Pro. All parameters can be specified by the user as they “build” their crop programs over several weeks. Reminders can also be scheduled to ensure critical tasks are not forgotten.
Web-based software provides easy access and more advanced remote control. Built-in data acquisition and the ability to store and share settings between multiple devices means that user-defined programs and settings can be saved and loaded easily into multiple Hydro-X Pro units. A custom screen saver page can be downloaded via a USB port.
*Note on Internet connection: TrolMaster main controllers can be connected to the Internet in order to use the available application. Most available Internet services, including terrestrial and cellular Internet, are compatible. However, HughesNet/Viasat satellite internet is NOT compatible with TrolMaster controllers at this time.
*Firmware update note: To update the TrolMaster HCS-2 controller firmware, you must use a USB flash drive with a maximum capacity of 32 GB.
